My firsthand retail experience started in the 1990’s. Thirteen years later I opened my own brick and mortar contemporary ladies’ boutique, then ten years later, launched a successful online store. As a specialty retailer serving an incredibly unique demographic within ladies’ fashion, I have overcome countless challenges never experienced by many retailers, and I’m grateful for these obstacles! I’m a die-hard optimist (sometimes annoyingly) and see challenges as opportunities to make me a better retailer, and an even better Retail Business Coach!

In 2015 I began working as a Retail Business Coach. My coaching style is authentic; I’m a real person with real experience, realistic expectations, and real solutions! I use my personal experiences to guide and inspire my Clients to take
practical actions (ie: create fun promotions, develop merchandising strategies, solve staffing challenges, improve vendor relationships, and so much more!) that free up cash, make their stores more efficient, and ultimately, fall back in love with what they do!
I’m a self-proclaimed ‘data nerd’ (I spent a decade in academic research before pivoting to my true passion in retail!), and love using numbers to justify change! I believe strongly in balance and encourage my Clients to enjoy life outside of the store!

You will never be judged (I’ve seen or done it all!). Since then, I have done shoe and apparel product sourcing for my stores in the U.S., Europe, and Central America, and worked with several European designers and factories on building their collections for the US market.

I have spent twenty years working with retailers to improve their cash position and efficiencies in their businesses; thus, I bring a great set of analytical skills to my retail Clients.

My passion is to provide a holistic perspective to my retail stores through a consistent and comprehensive approach to retail management. As part of achieving balanced inventories and positive cash management, I focus on employee productivity, marketing solutions, and consistent customer experience in the stores.
